Hi, my name is Josie! My owner and I received our Pet Therapy Certification in June of 2009. We belong to the Furry Angel Therapy Dogs, who are a Division of Bright and Beautiful Therapy Dogs. We visit hospitals, nursing homes, libraries, detention centers, any place where we can cheer people up. I love visiting people and making people take their minds off their worries. We'd like to tell you of our "tails" while we take this journey. Woof!

One of my Blog Friends needs our support
Hi Everyone...
One of my blog friends, Sheltiebeauties, lost their beloved dog Hana yesterday, on Valentine's Day, no less.
She was only 3 years old. They do have her beautiful daughter, Eva, who is not even 3 months old yet.
If you have the time to leave a message of condolences, please go to:

Long may you run, Hana, over the rainbow bridge....
Thank you so much!
Much Love!!!
Josie
I AM NOT THERE
Do not stand at my grave and weep;
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn's rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there, I did not die.

I feel so sad for Hana's family. They must be heartbroken. I had a feeling all day that Hana had already passed. I hope Eva can bring them lots of smiles when they get home from England.
ReplyDeleteI only just found Hana. This is so sad.
ReplyDeleteBut I know Hana is up in the sky with rainbows and sunshine and things greater than I.
You are a good friend, Josie. I'm glad I found you too.
I did see that Hana didn't make it. So sad. "I Am Not There" -- very nice.
ReplyDeleteThis is the hardest part of being a pet owner. I am so sorry that Hana's family must have this burden so soon.
ReplyDeleteI was absolutely stunned when I read her blog today. I had no idea a dog so young could have kidney failure. It is so sad. Devastating.
